Practice all of geometry

This mixed review blends measuring skills (area, perimeter) with the visual ones (angles, shapes, coordinates) in one set.

What’s in geometry

Geometry splits into two kinds of skill. Area, Perimeter and Volume are measuring skills — they lean on multiplication and have tidy formulas. Shapes, Angles and the Coordinate Plane are visual skills, shown here with real on-screen diagrams you read and answer. Together they cover the geometry of grades 3–6.

By grade

  • Grades K–3: naming shapes, and perimeter.
  • Grade 4: classifying angles and area.
  • Grades 5–6: volume and the coordinate plane.

Common mistakes, and how to help

The most common slip is confusing area and perimeter — area is the space inside (square units), perimeter is the distance around (plain units). For triangles, don’t forget the ½; for volume, remember it’s three dimensions multiplied (cubic units). The diagrams are there so children read the measurements off the shape rather than guessing.

Frequently asked questions

Is the geometry practice free?

Yes — all practice and worksheets are free, no sign-up, and no ads inside the practice.

Do the diagrams work on a phone?

Yes — the shapes, angles, clocks and grids are drawn on screen and scale to any device, so you just tap or type your answer.

What’s the difference between area and perimeter?

Perimeter is the distance around a shape (units); area is the space inside it (square units).

How do you find the area of a rectangle?

Multiply length by width. A 5 by 3 rectangle has an area of 15 square units.

What are the four quadrants?

The four regions of the coordinate plane, numbered I–IV counter-clockwise from the top right.

Can I print geometry worksheets?

Yes — each skill page has a print button for a fresh 20-question sheet with an answer key.
