About Mathify Kids

Mathify Kids is a free math site for kindergarten to grade 8. It is built for parents helping at home, and for teachers who need a clear chart or a quick worksheet without signing up for anything.

What you will find here

• Step-by-step lessons that explain the method, show worked examples and end with practice problems.
• Math charts you can print for the wall or use on screen.
• Guides for every grade and topic, so you can see what comes next.

Everything on the site is free to use at home and in the classroom. There is no account to create and no watermark on anything you print.

Who makes it

Mathify Kids was started by Vikas, who writes and reviews the content on the site. The aim is simple: explain each topic the way a patient tutor would, one step at a time, so a parent can sit down with a child and help without having to relearn the math first.

How the content is checked

• Matched to the Common Core. Every lesson and worksheet lists the grade and the standards it covers, so you can check it against your child’s class.
• Every worked example is solved and checked. Answers are worked out in full, then checked a second way, such as adding back after a subtraction.
• Common mistakes come from real ones. The “mistakes to watch for” on each page are the errors children most often make on that skill.
• Pages are updated. Each page shows when it was last reviewed, and corrections are made as soon as an error is reported.
